What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a very natural altered state of consciousness (like day-dreaming), one that everybody will experience from time to time in which the mind remains alert, clear and focused on something.
You have probably experienced this feeling; While driving to work or a regular destination (as a passenger or driver), you will arrive at a point in the journey not remembering how you got there. You have actually been driving on autopilot without taking in details of the trip. This is the same kind of altered awareness as hypnosis.
You may have heard some preconceived ideas about hypnosis that it's frightening and it feels very weird; Its actually very normal and very pleasant!
Is Hypnotherapy Suitable For Me?
Hypnotherapy is suitable for most people as an effective method of resolving problems that may trouble them. It's painless and it's safe and it's the perfect method for enlightening people today!
Hypnotherapy is not suitable for people under the influence of alcohol, non-prescribed drugs or with diagnosed schizophrenia.
Can I Afford Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a very cost effective solution because only a few sessions are needed. Most clients need between 4 and 10 sessions. Only one session is needed for Stop Smoking!
Can Hypnotherapy Stop Me Smoking?
With Hypnotherapy you can become a happy, relaxed and healthy non-smoker for the rest of your life.
Hypnotherapy has an exceedingly high success rate with stop smoking compared with other forms of medication and therapy.
Lots of people try to give up smoking with different methods that are available to them, most needing will power - the problem with will power is that you have to try and stop thinking about what it is you're trying to give up so you think about it even more.
For example, if you tried to stop thinking about wanting a fresh cream cake, all you really hear is 'fresh cream cake' because your subconscious only knows 'what is' not 'what isn't', so you think about it even more.
With hypnotherapy you don't need will power but you need commitment. You must really want to give up smoking!
Once you have the right frame of mind we can quickly start the Stop Smoking process. You will be helped and guided to enhance your motivation.
Do I Hand Over Control to the Therapist?
Not at all!
You will stay in complete control throughout the whole session and if anything was suggested to you that went against your moral beliefs, you would instantly come out of hypnosis.
Are the Sessions Confidential?
Definitely!
None of your personal details or details of your therapy will be passed on to anyone else without your permission.
Will I Fall Asleep?
More than likely not, but I say more than likely because some clients do actually fall asleep as they become so relaxed. But that's fine because hypnotherapy deals with the subconscious mind, not the conscious mind and the subconscious mind still hears everything when you are asleep.
Will I Remember the Session?
Yes but hypnotherapy can distort time so it probably will feel not as long as it actually is.
Will I Reveal My Deepest Darkest Secrets?
Absolutely not!
You will not reveal anything that you don't want to.
